Stroll through the Champs-Elysees

Another great place for walking with your beloved is the Ile Saint Louis near Notre Dame. In the midst of nature

Paris is has several beautiful gardens and here you can serenade your partner in the midst of unbelievably romantic settings. Luxembourg Gardens is especially famous for its graceful landscape, impressive statues and flower beds as well as the adjacent Luxembourg Castle which is breathtaking in its magnificence. The Buttes-Chamont is a romantic-style park with lakes, bridges and even a waterfall which is less frequented by tourists but a favorite courting venue for couples. The Jardins de Plantes on the other hand is a good pick if you are interested in botanical variety as this garden is famous for its exotic species of flowers and plants.

Up in the clouds

Romance your beloved from the many wonderful vantage points that Paris affords. Of these, the Eiffel Tower is of course the most famous. The right time to visit the top of the tower is towards the end of the day when the surrounding skyscape is awash in the glow of the setting sun. Alternatively you can book for a night-time ride to the higher levels which will offer you a birds’ eye view of the twinkling city lights below. Wait a while for the lighting blitz at the stroke every hour which bathes the Tower with twinkling illumination for five minutes. If you and your partner are history buffs, you can plan a date around the many fantastic monuments, cathedrals and palaces that this city is famous for.  The Chateau de Versailles is one of the most luxurious castles in Europe and recalls the grandeur of eighteenth-century France. The Notre Dame Cathedral and the Chartres Cathedral are two of the most splendid churches in whole of Europe. After you have been appropriately impressed by all the history and architecture, cozy up with your spouse on the stunning grounds of the palaces.
