- Griffith’s park
A paradise for couples who want to witness a most romantic sunset together In Los Angeles. It is also a favorite spot for cyclists, hikers and picnickers. It is home to Los Angeles zoo if you want to entertain your family and the Greek theatre which hosts open air concerts. For fun, there is a 1926 merry –go- round. It is one of the largest parks in the country and five times bigger than Central park in New York. Entry to the park is available from sunrise to sunset. If you don’t want to explore the park on your own, there are organized hikes and moonlight tours. Griffith’s observatory offers a unique, panoramic view of the city. In the distance, the Hollywood sign is located on the Southern flank of Mount Lee in the park. Near Forest Lawn drive is an enclave where folks ride a miniature rail road. Exhibits of locomotives, passenger cars and street cars add to the attraction. Roosevelt golf course, a baseball diamond and basketball as well as tennis courts draws the visitors.

- Runyon Canyon

The park covers 160 acres and there are two entrances. Bring along a champagne picnic for a night out in the open. The park features a variety of wildlife including birds, hawk, owls; lizards and snakes; and coyote and deer. Additionally, there are many hundred plant species throughout Runyon Canyon including elderberry, California sagebrush, black sage etc.
