Chlamydia is a STD; meaning is a sexually transmitted disease. One person, man or woman, can get infected through sexual intercourse, be it vaginal sex, anal sex or oral sex. Other way to spread Chlamydia is during child birth, when the mother can give her child Chlamydia during delivery, causing eye infections or pneumonia.
