Can Chlamydia Lead to Infertility Among Men?

Chlamydia can produce severe damages to a female reproductive system, such as pelvic inflammatory disease, leading even to infertility. However, there is no clear relation between Chlamydia and male infertility, not all researchers agreed on this though. Infertility in women is produced by the spreading of the disease to the uterus and fallopian tubes, conducing to obstructions or damage, and difficulty conceiving, even leading to a fatal ectopic pregnancy. In men the disease can produce urethra infection and spread to the tubes that carry sperm from the testicles, producing pain and fever, but with no serious consequences to the reproducing function.
